Congratulations to NAMA’s newly elected board members. They were elected by 29 percent of the membership. Your newest board members are

• Anupama Kizhakkeveettil, BAMS, PhD, AD, MAOM, LAc, C-IAYT, AYT; elected for 2020–2023

• Dhaval Dhru, MD, AD; elected for 2020–2023

• Dinesh Gyawali, MA, BAMS, PhD, AD; elected for 2020–2023

• Susan Weis-Bohlen; elected for 2020–2023

• Raja Sivamani, MD, MS; appointed to the board to fill a vacancy until the next election

The new board members are seated November 1.

A willingness to run for NAMA’s board of directors demonstrates a tremendous commitment to NAMA and the future of Ayurvedic medicine in the U.S. and around the world. NAMA is also deeply grateful for the dedication of Manas Kshirsagar, BS, MS, AD, and Tracy Zuschlag, CAP, for also running for election to the board. Like the newly elected board members, they had already demonstrated a deep commitment to NAMA’s mission through their committee work and were willing to do more.
