Ayurveda Yoga Therapy For People With MS

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disorder that affects each person differently with a variety of symptoms, categories and treatment options. In the 13 years of Chaya’s work in developing programs to assist people with MS, she has found Ayurveda’s tri-doshic theory and yoga’s approach to self-awareness, integration and deep relaxation provides the ability to discern individuals separate from their diagnosis. Chaya will present her findings of Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy for people with MS and share how to establish equilibrium through diet, lifestyle and yoga therapy
 
Chaya~Sharon Heller, BA, CAP, C-IAYT, LMT, E-RYT500 of ChayaVeda™ Integrative Healing Arts, is an Integrative Medicine Wellness Educator at Shands Hospital. Chaya authored "Yoga of Action: Holistic Lifestyle and Adaptive Yoga for People with MS and Similar Conditions." She taught adaptive yoga and wellness programs for the National MS Society for over ten years and has been featured on the Wellness TV Network, in Kripalu Yoga: A Guide to Practice On and Off The Mat and the Yoga International Magazine. She is a national program facilitator, speaker, and educator, garnering prodigious testimonials for her life-changing work.
