Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. PT
As the progress of the social justice and antiracism movement that arose in 2020 continues to unfold, we once again face the reality of the many disparities that exist in our world. Join us for an open dialogue about our experiences with acts of exclusion. We will discuss the social, emotional, and physical impacts of unconscious bias and the stress from various forms of discrimination and prejudice, including, but not limited to, racism, colorism, classism, antisemitism, sexism, homophobia, ageism, xenophobia, and ethnocentrism. We will uncover ways to use our Ayurvedic practice in response to bias, oppression, and injustice, as well as highlight ways to maximize the truth-telling and healing process for ourselves, our community, and our clients.
Please listen to Part I before attending Part II. If you missed the live airing, members can access the recording here.
Also, if you have not done so already, please take at least one of the highly regarded Harvard Implicit Association Tests BEFORE joining us for the training, Part II. (If you have trouble accessing the testing site, try a different browser.) Your results are for you only and are meant to increase your awareness of your implicit biases. We all have them.
This is a members only event.
