Ayurveda Week Schedule

Day 1 ~ Monday October 21, 2024

Ayurveda: The Original Biohacking - 9 am PST/12 pm EST
Suhas Kshirsagar

Ayurveda is one of the most ancient and comprehensive systems of healthcare known to humanity. It is the original lifestyle medicine that is foundational to your participation in the prevention and treatment of various diseases. It describes so many simple bio-hack techniques that cultivates a positive shift in your epigenome and gene expression.

Biohacking is do it yourself biology, which includes numerous self-care rituals that promote changes in your mind, body, diet and everyday living to optimize health & well-being.

During Suhas’s session, we’ll discuss some of these interventions that are fully validated by latest medical research.

Day 2 ~ Tuesday October 22, 2024

How to Address Food Cravings Through Ayurveda - 9 am PST/12 pm EST

Ayurveda’s approach to food cravings is quite unique in the world of nutrition.  For one reason, there is no word for calorie in Ayurveda.  Ayurveda has an important perspective to offer on this topic as it focuses on your body’s response to the food, not how the food tests in a petri dish.  Through an Ayurvedic approach, food cravings can be addressed in a way that doesn’t involve ignoring the imbalance but instead understanding the root cause of the imbalance.
