2025 CALL FOR CONFERENCE PRESENTERS

The 2025 call for presenters for the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) 21st Annual Conference "The Pursuit of Longevity: Ayurveda for the Digital Age" is now open!

As modern society navigates the growing challenges of achieving longevity and healthy aging, the 2025 NAMA Conference, taking place May 2nd - 4th, 2025 in Irving, Texas will provide a unique opportunity to explore how Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom can guide us toward a more vibrant future in today’s modern world.

NAMA welcomes multiple proposal submissions, from members and non-members, that will share insights on how Ayurveda, combined with cutting-edge digital advancements, can support longer, healthier lives. To be considered, please submit your proposal using the form provided by Monday, January 6th, 2025, by 11:59 PM PT.

Submissions for the 2025 NAMA Conference “The Pursuit of Longevity: Ayurveda for the Digital Age” are encouraged to fit within three overarching areas in supporting the theme:

  • Integrating Technology and how technological advancements can enhance the practice and global reach of Ayurveda; 

  • Sustainable Practices focusing on eco-friendly, sustainable approaches in Ayurveda and indigenous medicine that promote longevity; and 

  • Interdisciplinary Integration highlighting collaborations with healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrative care for graceful aging. 

When submitting a conference programming proposal, presenters are required to choose one of the following seven categories:


Submission Process

When submitting your proposal, you will need to provide the following information in the NAMA portal:

  1. Select one category from the seven categories listed above.

  2. Title of your presentation. The title will be showcased in the conference program. Once the title is submitted no changes are allowed. 

  3. Presenter’s first and last name. 

  4. Credentials if applicable. 

  5. Presenter’s email address.

  6. Professional headshot (.JPEG or .PNG).

  7. Resume/CV (.pdf). Please name the file as follows: [Last Name]_Resume.pdf (e.g., Gupta_Resume.pdf).

  8. Professional biography (50-word maximum).

  9. Submit your proposal (650-word maximum) with the following for your presentation, structured as follows: 

    • 1 - Title

    • 2 - Abstract (50-word maximum)

    • 3 - Three - Five Learning Objectives of the Presentation (50-word maximum)

    • 4 - Methodology (50-word maximum; if applicable)

    • 5 - Results (50-word maximum; if applicable)

    • 6 - Conclusions (75-word maximum)

    • 7 - References (if applicable)

    • The Veda Talks do not require methodology, results, or references. 

    Three - five keywords that best describe your presentation’s focus.

  10. Agree to the following terms pending acceptance of your proposal: 

    • You will be required to read, accept, and sign a presenter’s agreement by January 8, 2025.

    • You must commit to attending and presenting in person at the 2025 NAMA conference.

    • You agree to use the provided NAMA slide template and submit your completed slides to your assigned moderator by April 4, 2025. Further details on slide submission will be provided in presenter training.

    • You agree to purchase a 2025 NAMA Conference pass at a discounted rate.

    • You agree that details on your specific session will be provided after all submissions have been reviewed.
