with Anuradha Gupta, AD
The LGBTQ+ community faces a dual impact of greater healthcare issues due to marginalization, combined with unequal healthcare access and discrimination. There are inclusive references to the LGBTQ+ community in Vedic times and I have established best practices for providing culturally competent, affirming Ayurvedic healthcare management through my AD research which was peer-reviewed and selected for the 2024 NAMA conference Digital Poster Presentation. I would like to present these practices for Ayurveda Schools, Providers, Associations and other stakeholders to implement.
