Course Description
A fundamental training in Ayurvedic Spa therapies, Sacred bodywork and classic PanchaKarma treatments, held in an intensive program that unfolds over 21 days and includes live hands-on learning and access to an online video forum, life-long. An advanced course, LEVEL 4 will be offered in Fall of 2023.

Course Objective
Students are learning the technical aspects of some of the most important Ayurvedic Bodywork therapies, Marma and PanchaKarma but can only perform PanchaKarma under the supervision of a CAP. Additional licensing like massage permits may be required on a State to State basis.

Provider Name Maharani Academy

Provider Bio Corinna Maharani is an Ayurvedic practitioner with 30 years of experience teaching and practicing Ayurveda in the USA and Germany. She graduated from one of the first Ayurveda programs held at the Maharishi International University, Iowa, in 1989. There she also met her lifelong teacher, Vaidya R.K. Mishra, who was considered one of the most brilliant minds in Ayurveda history. He stemmed from a lineage of Ayurvedic healers that dated back 126 generations. It is from that living tradition that she shares her love of Ayurveda. Corinna has owned and operates her own Ayurveda clinic in Santa Barbara since 2000. She is a frequent speaker and published writer on the topic of Ayurveda. She has been the director of the Pancha Karma educational program, at the Kanyakumari Ayurveda & Yoga School, in Wisconsin, for 15 years. Her goal is to deepen our understanding of this holistic science and help us apply these ancient principles in our modern times.
