Course Objective
To provide authentic, integrative and inspiring education on the ancient systems of healthy living from The Vedic Texts: Ayurveda and Yoga. These sister sciences are designed to bring about the return to a natural state of balance, vitality and total well-being of body, mind and spirit. Known as the medicine of the people because they are simple to execute with proper guidance and education utilizing everyday resources accessible to the masses. Because Ayurveda and Yoga look to establish health and wellness in all systems of the body with low out of pocket cost, they are seen by many as an important part of the medicine of the future.

Provider Name Susan Bass

Provider Bio Susan holds a Master of Science in Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine from Maharishi International University. She teaches Ayurveda as Adjunct Faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine. Susan founded the Sarasvati Institute of Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy (SIAYT) in Portland, OR which is a NAMA Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy recognized and approved program, an IAYT accredited yoga therapy training program and a Yoga Alliance 500-hour registered school. SIAYT was voted "Favorite School for Holistic Medicine" in the 2017, 2018 & 2019 Natural Choice awards in the Portland/Vancouver area. Her specialty is Digestion, Detoxification and Toxicology. Susan studied Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Shekhar Annambhotla, Dr. Robert Svobhoda, Dr. Sunil Joshi, Dr. Linda Reynolds, John Immel, Dr. Savita Rajurkar, Dr. Charles Elder, Vaidya Anita Misra and Vaidya Manohar Palakurthi.
