NAMA Exam Preparation Course


Course Topic:
TIA (Topics in Ayurveda) = 8 Hours

Course Description:
A five-week course prep course for Ayurvedic Health Professionals to study for the NAMA Board Exam. Exam topics include Foundations of Ayurveda, Concepts of Ayurveda, Assessment & Diagnosis, Treatment & Intervention, and Categories of Chikitsa. Critical exam skill-building exercises, weekly assignments, case review lessons, vocabulary, NAMA herbology, and classical sloka study exercises pertaining to their scope of practice level.

Course Objectives::
1. Students will have more confidence to take exams by practicing consistent skill-building testing exercises each week.
2. Students will gain practice and self-assessment strategies by solving case scenarios through discussion and multiple choice.
3. Students will deepen their understanding and memorization of selected vocabulary, herbal formulary, and classical slokas through peer practices and discussion.
4. Students will learn how to create and build study resources.
5. Students will conclude the course by taking a practice exam.
