Presenter Bio:

Dr. Monica B Groover is a licensed Massage Therapist, Ayurveda Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, & Herbalist. Ms. Groover comes from a heritage of Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology, and Herbal healing. Her father was a famous Vedic Astrologer and Herbalist in India. MS Groover studied extensive Ayurveda and Panchakarma under Guru Shishya parampara. She has also studied with International Center for Ayurveda studies at Gujarat Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Maharishi Ayurveda, and, Kerala Ayurvedic Health Institute in India. She has taught at Kerala Ayurveda in California and been a guest speaker at events organized at Bastyr, Palomar Integrative Hospital, Rady's Children and, Nursing school in San Diego.

A certified NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association), member at the Ayurveda Doctor level; Ms. Groover's research and articles have been published in India, as well as the U.S. Her articles have been published in Light of Ayurveda Journal, and her curriculum has been used by Universities.​ Ms. Groover is the author of AYURVEDA AND THE FEMININE available to buy on amazon. Her second book ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO AYURVEDA - part 1 A textbook for Ayurveda Counselors opened at Number 1 at amazon in its category and stayed there for 9 weeks. Ms. Groover has been actively involved in the standards committee, exam committee, and other voluntary committees with NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association)
