Course Description:
The Kripalu School of Ayurveda (KSA) presents: Ayurveda and the Mind—a brand new, three-part series consisting of a five-day on campus program in April, an evening online program from April–June, and a five-day on campus program in September. This is a unique opportunity to join a cohort of other Ayurvedic practitioners as you learn from expert KSA faculty about mental wellness—an extremally relevant and important topic, especially now. All of the programs in this series are intended to deepen your personal and professional Ayurvedic study and practices. NOTE Programs can be taken as stand-alones or together as a bundle. There is a 10% discount when you book all three programs as a bundle.

Course Objectives:
1. Be able to guide clients/students into an inquiry around an embodied experience of suffering with the framework of manovaha srotas
2. Provide herbal recommendations for reducing the root cause of anxiety and depression
3. Utilizing food, breathwork, yoga asana and meditation as tools for healing blockages in manovaha srotas

Course Description:
The Ayurveda Therapist training program is a 6 month in person residential training to learn the basics of Ayurveda along with 35-40 classical therapies in a very natural setting of an Ayurveda hospital in Rural India.

Course Objectives:
1. The course will help the students in learning and practicing a sustainable skill in these times when Ayurveda is regaining prominence worldwide as the medical system of choice for efficacy and sustainability.
2. Graduates will be qualified to appropriately perform over 35 traditional procedures or operations, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
3. The trained Therapists will be proficient in patient management, herbal preparations, operations, sanitation, and team communications.
4. This course is being conducted for fulfilling a long-standing need to train Certified Ayurveda Therapists in traditional techniques and operations for Ayurveda healing.
5. This Training Program presents a new benchmark in the training and development of Certified Ayurveda Therapists while supporting the restoration of scriptural Ayurveda from ancient texts. Ayurveda Therapists can be employed in natural settings such as Ayurveda clinics and treatment centers in India, and in the Spa industry internationally.

PanchaKarma Technician – Professional Certification Training

Course Description
This training is designed for bodyworkers and Ayurvedic Health Counselors (AHC), Ayurvedic practitioner (CAP) or doctors, who wish to implement the artful treatment techniques of Ayurveda Sacred Bodywork™ and PanchaKarma into their Ayurvedic practice, PanchaKarma clinic or spa. This vocational training includes a series of 12 Online classes, held over the course of 3-month, a 14-day practicum for live, hands-on learning, and an additional 3-month of guided supervision, in order to gain the needed experience and confidence before graduating. The 300 hour training will take atleast 6-months to complete. 12-online classes over a course of 3-months, 14-days of practicum (individually scheduled for 2-4 students) during the first 3-months, as well as 3-months of guided supervision and support before graduating.

Course Objective
Graduates will be allotted the skills and professionalism needed to perform Ayurvedic Sacred Bodywork™, Marma therapy and PanchaKarma (the later only under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner or doctor). They may not claim to ether diagnose, treat or heal disease; this is always reserved to a medical professional. Students will be versed in all classical PanchaKarma therapies, including their application for śamana and śodhana cikitsā, all indications, counter indications, set-up, preparations, client care, follow-up, and all details attaining to Ayurvedic Sacred Bodywork™, Marma therapy and PanchaKarma. These include Abhyanga, Svedana, Marma, Shirodhara, external Basti, Netra, Virechana, Vamana and Basti (based on State guidelines), Nasya, Pinda, Udvartana, Lepana, Upanaham, Picu

Provider Bio Corinna Maharani is an Ayurvedic practitioner with over 30 years of experience, teaching and practicing Ayurveda in the USA and Germany. She graduated from one of the first Ayurveda programs held at the Maharishi International University, Iowa, in 1989. There she also met her lifelong teacher, Vaidya R.K. Mishra, who was considered one of the most brilliant minds in Ayurvedic history and taught her directly from his ancient lineage. It is from this living tradition, the Shaka Vansiya (SV) Ayurveda lineage, that she teaches and shares her love for Ayurveda with her clients and students.
