The Council for Ayurveda Research (CAR), one of NAMA’s Affiliate Organizations, is organizing a FREE three-day Global Consortium and 1 day Industry Roundtable. These events will feature invited Ayurveda and integrative experts/clinicians/academicians/researchers/scientists from some of the leading Institutes/Universities in the US, India and other countries, who have the background, experience, inclination, and resources to initiate, facilitate and conduct cutting edge Ayurveda research. The events’ primary objective is to share, discuss, and develop a consensus on key areas of research in Ayurveda and identify the right strategies and methods for conducting that research. Here are some of the topics that will be covered: research and research methodology in Ayurveda, current gaps in research in Ayurveda, sustainability of herbs, quality assurance in Ayurvedic products, expanding the Ayurvedic formulary, Ayurceuticals, nutraceuticals, stringent guidelines and oversight on herb exports, future directions for research in Ayurveda, COVID lessons and successes, future pandemic preparation and more.
NAMA is a proud sponsor of this online event and is excited to share this special opportunity with our members and community. 15 NAMA PACE credits will be given to Consortium attendees with certificate of completion submission.
